No single food or nutrient provides a single answer for managing high triglycerides. Some natural foods and nutrients can lower triglycerides in amazing ways, but they are useless without the other parts of the equation. Medical care is necessary in order to monitor and measure triglycerides levels and ensure that treatment methods, including taking advantage of the benefits of niacin, are remaining effective. Additionally, reducing high sugar and fat foods as part of a well rounded diet is absolutely essential to keep triglyceride levels from spiking and remaining elevated.
